At Sir Harry's we organise many enrichment activities to ensure that our curriculum is both challenging and exciting!

Science Day

In April 2017, we held our first Science Day, where children across the school took part in a range of scientific experiments.

KS1 Play

In April 2017, Songani, Chiradzulu and Nawimbe Class performed 'Eddie the Penguin Saves the World' to a packed audience.

Book Week

In February 2017, we organised a Book Week.  All of the activities the children completed centred around books and reading.  On the last day we had a dressing up day, where children and staff came dressed as a book character.

Design Technology Day

In February 2017, we had a whole school Design Technology Day focusing on textiles.

Problem Solving Day

In January 2017, children from Reception through to Year 8 took part in another Problem Solving Day. They worked brilliantly as a team and our older children showed great leadership skills.

KS2 Play

In December 2016, Malumbe and Chagwa class performed 'Tuishi Pamoja' (a musical set in Africa.

Design Technology Day

In November 2016, we held a whole school African Cookery Day.  Each class made a dish from a different country.  The food was delicious!

Problem Solving Day

In October 2016, children in years 1-8 enjoyed another fun problem solving day. They worked in teams and used many skills such as teamwork, communication, patience, listening and perseverance.

Game Haven Residential

In June 2016, our year 5/6 class went away on a safari residential to Game Haven, near Blantyre.  As you can see from the video below, the children had a wonderful time!   

KS1 Play

In March 2016, Songani, Nawimbe and Chiradzulu Class performed 'Animal Rumble Grumble' to a packed hall. 

Year 7 Camp

In November 2015, our year 7 class were joined by students from Hillview High for a joint overnight camp in the school grounds.  They took part in a range of artistic, sporting and outdoor activities.

Mulanje Residential

In June 2014, our year 5/6 class walked up Mount Mulanje and stayed over night.  The video below documents some of their adventures!
