We finished term 1 with a whole school Christmas Singalong!
In December 2017, Malumbe and Chagwa class performed the classic story 'Treasure Island.'
In November 2017, our Secondary students took part in a maths and science based Problem Solving Day. The aim was to develop their critical thinking.
In November 2017, children in years 1 to 6 enjoyed another fun problem solving day. They worked in teams and used many skills such as teamwork, communication, patience, listening and perseverance.
In November 2017, Sir Harry's held its first Science Week.. All of our children enjoyed becoming scientists!
In October 2017, our Year 3/4 Class went on an exciting overnight camp at Pakachere. They visited the Botanical Gardens and Zomba Forest Lodge. They had a fantastic time!
In October 2017, we held our first Sir Harry's Family Picnic. We were delighted to have so many parents come along and join us!
In October 2017, our year 5/6 class went away on a safari residential to Game Haven, near Blantyre. As you can see from the photos below, the children had a wonderful time!
In October 2017, we held a whole school Cookery Day. Each class made a healthy dish. The food was delicious!
In June 2017, our year 5/6 class walked up Mount Mulanje and stayed over night. The photos below documents some of their adventures!
In June 2017, our Secondary Class took part in an exciting farm residential. They had a brilliant time!
In June 2017, our Secondary Class performed 'Extracts from Shakespeare.' we were very impressed with their English and Drama skills.
Sir Harry's held its first Mini Maths Week. Children across the school took part in a range of practical activities centering around mathematics!
In May 2017, we held a Design Technology Day, where the whole school made different types of vehicles.
In April 2017, we held our first Science Day, where children across the school took part in a range of scientific experiments.
In April 2017, Songani, Chiradzulu and Nawimbe Class performed 'Eddie the Penguin Saves the World' to a packed audience.
In February 2017, we organised a Book Week. All of the activities the children completed centred around books and reading. On the last day we had a dressing up day, where children and staff came dressed as a book character.
In February 2017, we had a whole school Design Technology Day focusing on textiles.
In January 2017, children from Reception through to Year 8 took part in another Problem Solving Day. They worked brilliantly as a team and our older children showed great leadership skills.
