POSITION: TEACHERS

Location: Zomba

POSITIONS REQUIRED FOR SEPTEMBER 2024

Sir Harry Johnston International School in Zomba, Malawi, would like to hear from you regarding the positions below:

 

English teacher for secondary school to IGCSE, with Bachelor of Education/PGCE, obtained from a reputable university.

Mathematics teacher for secondary school to IGCSE, with Bachelor of Education/PGCE, obtained from reputable university.

Science Teacher for secondary school to IGCSE, with Bachelor of Education/PGCE majoring in Chemistry, Physics or Biology as a minimum, obtained from a reputable university.

Humanities Teacher for secondary school to IGCSE, with Bachelor of Education/PGCE majoring in Geography or History but the ability to teach both would be an advantage

Primary teacher (Key stage 2 preferably) with Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education as a minimum from a reputable university.

In all of the above experience of teaching the Cambridge Checkpoint/IGCSE syllabi is advantageous but not essential.

Science Teacher and Primary KS1 Teacher

Positions Starting October 2023

Are you a qualified teacher who is able to teach the CAIE Curriculum?

Do you have an interest in teaching children to be critical thinkers?

Do you have a clear understanding of safeguarding principles and practices?

 

If you can respond positively to all these questions, the Board at Sir Harry Johnston International School in Zomba, Malawi, would like to hear from you in trying to fill the following positions.

1.      Primary teacher (Key stage 1 preferably) with Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education as a minimum from a reputable university.

 

2.      Science Teacher for secondary school with Bachelor of Education (Science) majoring in Chemistry, Physics or Biology as a minimum, obtained from a reputable university.
